Search for and select the appropriate keyring/property/person, then click 'Edit' beside the detail you wish to update. If there is not an obvious place to store the detail, use the Notes or Description box.
Please contact Keyzapp support for help, as we need to carefully merge all the keyring events behind the scenes.
Ask someone in your office with administrator permissions to reset your password for you (they can follow the instructions here ). If you are the only administrator in your office, you will need to contact Keyzapp support.
There are no fixed security requirements – however, to keep your password secure, we strongly recommend choosing passwords at least 6 characters in length (a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers and punctuation) and changing your password every few months. You can find advice on how to do this here.
Like all cloud-based systems, Keyzapp relies on your internet connection. If your internet does temporarily go down, don’t forget that you can still use Keyzapp on your phone via a 3G or 4G connection. Some phones also allow you to use the connection as a WiFi hotspot so you can connect to the internet from your PC. You can use Keyzapp from any internet connection, including at home. You can also contact Keyzapp support to request a spreadsheet of your keys to be sent to an appropriate address.
When you tap a keyfob or ID card, a new browser window or tab is opened. Keyzapp has been set up this way. This can sometimes result in several Keyzapp pages loading (e.g. at the end of the day when you are signing in several sets of keys). In this instance, there is a quick way to close all but the most recent browser tab in your browser that may come in handy. To do this:
- Right-click the most recent tab in your browser
- Select ‘Close other tabs’
Still frustrated by multiple tabs? Contact Keyzapp support to trial an alternative supported by Keyzapp Companion.
When you assign fobs to keyrings in Keyzapp, you are given the option to provide details on individual keys – e.g. their serial number and a description. We recommend that you do this so that if individual keys and fobs become separated, you can use Advanced Search to identify which keyring/property the loose key belongs to.
All of our fobs provide contact details so that if a key is lost, the individual who finds it can quickly let you know. We will have discussed the set up of this feature with you when you first purchased Keyzapp, so you will be notified as per your preferences. If Administrators would like to review messages received regarding lost keys, they can view Lost Key Messages under Advanced Reports.
Please contact Keyzapp support to place your order. You can make use of an Advanced Report to help identify replacement fobs/cards

The default setting in Keyzapp does not let you add new keyrings into the system without fobs attached. For most users, this is the preferred way of working and it ensures that Keyzapp is being used as they would like. However, we can change this setting if you would like us to - please just give us a call.
A new feature allows you to do this more easily. Instructions can be found here.
Yes, it is likely that this was setup for you when you went live on Keyzapp. If not, then you may need to order additional keyfobs.
