How To Setup Manually Triggered Key Reminders

Automatic key reminders are the recommended way chase your keys back in most cases. It’s often useful to be able to manually trigger additional reminder messages at a time of your choosing. For example, many people like to send out extra "chaser" messages at the end of a week.
At present, manual reminders may only be sent as Text Messages. Once set up, these messages can be sent from the Keyrings Screen. See How.
Setup Manual Text Message Reminders
- To get started, go to Admin>Messages and Alerts.
- On the Messages and Alerts Screen, Click “Start Here”.
- The template we want is Manual Overdue Texts. Click this and Click Apply.
- The manual message Template is created on the Manual Templates Tab
- If you want, you can customize the message. Or add alternative manual message types. See Customizing Text Messages (Requires Professional Subscription or Above).
