How to assign fobs in Keyzapp

Assigning Fobs to Keyrings

This is the same process as Adding New Keyrings - please refer to this article for complete guidance. The steps below are a quick summary of the process:

Assigning a fob

  1. Tap/scan the unassigned fob which you would like to assign to a keyring
  2. Search for the address of the property you are working with, or click Add New Property to enter and save details for a new property
  3. Fill in the Keyring Details
  4. Click Create

Don't forget to attach the fob to the corresponding keyring!

Replacing a damaged fob

If a fob has been lost or damaged, it will be unassigned, and the keyring screen will show that there is no fob.


By tapping or scanning the replacement fob, you can assign a new one to the existing keyring/hook.  Printed fobs can be reordered, or you can use an unnumbered fob if you have a supply of spares.
