Add new keyrings in Keyzapp / Assign fobs

Adding new keyrings is a quick, guided process which requires you to tap/scan a fob to assign to the keyring and confirm the address of the property it is for. A summary of the process is presented below, followed by a more detailed set of instructions and variations.


Summary

  1. Tap/scan the unassigned fob* which you will be assigning to the new keyring
  2. Search for and select the address of the property that the keyring is for
  3. Click Create

Add new keyrings (assign a fob) by scanning

The simplest way to initiate the process for adding a new keyring is from the homepage.  The process is shown in the video above.

  1. Tap/scan the unassigned fob*  you wish to attach to the new keyring
  2. The guided process for adding new keyrings will load
  3. Complete the Property box.  If the keyring is for an existing property, search for the property and select it; if the keyring is for a new property, click Add New Property and complete the property information as prompted.  
  4. Complete the Keyhook box : confirm that the auto-populated Keyhook information is correct, and edit this manually via the Change Keyhook button if required
  5. Complete the Keyring Details box with details about the individual keys on the keyring
  6. Check the box for "Master Key" if this is required.  This is an optional feature - please contact us to discuss
  7. Click Create

If you want to add a keyring into Keyzapp but do not wish to assign a fob, a Keyzapp settings change may be required – please contact the Keyzapp support team to discuss this if you cannot see the option.


Add new keyrings (assign a fob) via the property details page

You can also start the process for adding a new keyring by selecting the property. 

  1. Search for and select the address of the property for which you are adding the keyring.  The Property Details page will load.
  2. In the Keyrings box, select Add New Keyring



The guided process for adding new keyrings will load.
  1. Tap or scan the fob* you wish to use and check that the auto-populated Keyhook information is correct. Edit this if required.
  2. Complete the Keyrings Details box
  3. Check the box for "Master Key" if this is required.  This is an optional feature - please contact us to discuss
  4. Click Create
