About your Keyzapp Kiosk
Keyzapp kiosks are designed to be an attractive, always-on and super efficient way to sign keys in and out of busy locations. The idea is that they are always ready for someone to scan their ID card / fob and issue and return keys. Below are some tips for getting the most of of your Kiosk. Don't forget you can always
contact us if you have questions.
A note on remote monitoring
We supply our Kiosks with remote monitoring switched on. This means that we can access the kiosks remotely to help you with any questions or challenges you may be having. We may also periodically connect to the kiosks from our base, just to check everything is ok. Sometimes we may be unable to do this due to your network setup or IT security policies. In this case, we may need a bit more assistance from you in helping you troubleshoot any problems you may have.
Powering on and off
We strongly recommend that you keep the Kiosk permanently plugged in and powered on. There is nothing worse than having to wait to power the system on when you need a key in a hurry! Your Keyzapp Kiosk should be configured to stay powered on at all times.
You will find the power button behind the Kiosk bezel, to the right hand side. You'll have to poke your finger through the hole in the Kiosk body, where you should then be able to feel the power switch.
