Signing In Keys
Scanning keys in
- Tap/scan the fob attached to the keyring you are signing in
- Note which keyhook to return the keyring to, and click Sign-in (or press 'Enter')
- Return the keyring to its allocated keyhook
Manually signing in keys (without a smart fob or reader)
Sign in keys by property address
- Open Keyzapp's Home page
- Search for and select the property that the keys are for
- The Property Details page will load - tracked keyrings from the property will be listed in the Keyrings box
- Click the Sign-In button next to the appropriate set of keys
Sign in keys by key number
- Open Keyzapp's Home page
- Search for the Key Number
- The Keyring Details page will load
- Click the Sign-In button
Sign in keys by person
If the keys were signed out to someone else
- Open Keyzapp's Home page
- Search for and select the person to whom the keys are signed out
- Their People Details page will load - click on the appropriate Keyring ID from those listed in the Signed-out Keyrings box
- You will be taken to the Keyring Details page - click the Sign-In button under the Keyring Status box
If the keys were signed out to you
- Open the Keyrings page
- The keys signed out to you will be listed in the My Keyrings box - click on the Keyring ID for the key you wish to sign-in
- You will be taken to the Keyring Details page - click the Sign-In button under the Keyring Status box
