How to sign in keys

Signing In Keys

Scanning keys in


  1. Tap/scan the fob attached to the keyring you are signing in
  2. Note which keyhook to return the keyring to, and click Sign-in (or press 'Enter')
  3. Return the keyring to its allocated keyhook

Manually signing in keys (without a smart fob or reader)

Sign in keys by property address

  1. Open Keyzapp's Home page
  2. Search for and select the property that the keys are for
  3. The Property Details page will load - tracked keyrings from the property will be listed in the Keyrings box
  4. Click the Sign-In button next to the appropriate set of keys


Sign in keys by key number

  1. Open Keyzapp's Home page
  2. Search for the Key Number
  3. The Keyring Details page will load
  4. Click the Sign-In button

Sign in keys by person

If the keys were signed out to someone else

  1. Open Keyzapp's Home page
  2. Search for and select the person to whom the keys are signed out
  3. Their People Details page will load - click on the appropriate Keyring ID from those listed in the Signed-out Keyrings box
  4. You will be taken to the Keyring Details page - click the Sign-In button under the Keyring Status box


If the keys were signed out to you

  1. Open the Keyrings page
  2. The keys signed out to you will be listed in the My Keyrings box - click on the Keyring ID for the key you wish to sign-in
  3. You will be taken to the Keyring Details page - click the Sign-In button under the Keyring Status box
