Using Keyzapp on iPhones

You do not need an app to use Keyzapp on your iPhone.  We just recommend that you add Keyzapp to your home screen the first time you log in.

Scanning Keys with the Camera (Works on any iPhone) 

This is the recommended method if you have an iPhone X or below.
  1. Open your iPhone's Camera App
  2. Place the QR code from a fob in front of the camera
  3. Tap the message that appears
  4. Keyzapp will open in your phone's browser.

FAST Scanning Keys with the Contactless Chip (Newer iPhones)

This is the recommended way to scan keys on iPhones released after September 2018 (iPhone XR, XS, 11, 12)
  1. Touch the fob to the top edge of the phone
  2. Accept the message that appears
  3. Keyzapp will open in your phone's browser

Logging in

1. Log in by scanning or from keyzapp.com

EITHER:
  1. Scan any fob to log in
OR:
  1. Go to https://www.keyzapp.com/ and select login from the menu

2. Save your credentials

We recommend ticking the "remember me" box and using Apple's auto save to remember your credentials.
      

Recommended: Add Keyzapp to your home screen

Keyzapp runs in your browser, but can be added to your home screen just like any other app.
  1. Log in to Keyzapp
  2. Tap the home icon
  3. Select "Add to Homescreen" (you may need to scroll down)


Note: If using Google Chrome on your iPhone device, tap the Share button once logged in > 'Add to Home Screen':
