Enforce Scanning
- Contact Keyzapp Support to force all (or a majority) of your users to always scan keyfobs when signing-out, signing-in or transferring keys. This proves that the correct key has actually been picked up by your staff.
- There is a new 'orange tick' icon when not enforcing scanning, which indicates that a scan would be preferred/recommended, but the keyring has been selected manually and it is possible to complete the process.

“Return to Owner” has been renamed to “Archive” throughout Keyzapp
- If you require the process to be called something else, the name can be amended by calling support.
Signing In
- The process for assigning to a new location has changed a little. When you click the option to assign to a new location, you will be taken to a new process to select the new location after signing in. Full instructions can be found here.
Reports
- Where applicable, reports can now be sorted by keyring status
Keyring maintenance
- Key hooks can now be changed at the same time as reassigning a fob, replacing the need for a separate option in the “Edit keyring” screen.
- it is now easier to reassign hooks without scanning a fob
- If you use un-numbered fobs, Keyring IDs are now more easily editable without calling support
- “Assign Keyfob” and “Change Keyfob” buttons are added to the Key fob section as appropriate
- Keyring Details screen has fob serial number larger “Customer ID” if an id is printed on your fob
Keyring suggestion
- Suggestions now take into account the hook associated with a numbered fob if relevant.
