How to Disable or Delete SMS or Email Messages
If you wish to stop a message from being sent out, you can disable or delete the message.
You must be an Office Administrator to Disable or Delete Message Templates
Disable a message template
- Go to the Messages and Alerts Admin Screen by clicking Admin>Messages and Alerts
- Find the message type that you want to disable and click the "Enable/Disable" toggle
- To re-enable the template, click the toggle again
Delete a Message Template
If you want to remove a message template completely, you can delete it.
Once deleted, you will have to recreate the template if you need it again, either by reapplying a set of messages, or creating a new message.
- Go to the Messages and Alerts Admin Screen by clicking Admin>Messages and Alerts
- Find the message type that you want to delete and first disable it (if not already disabled)
- Click the Delete icon to delete the message
- Confirm that you wish to delete the message
